Pablo Llombart Gonzalez

Post-Doc

Pablo joined the group in 2020 as a "Juan de la Cierva" postdoctoral fellow. Pablo focuses on the study of equilibrium and non-equilibrium complex systems. He is currently developing models based on hydrodynamic interactions to study the behavior of active colloidal systems such as membrane-embedded proteins or synthetic cell models.

Berta Tinao Nieto

PhD student

Berta joined the group in 2018 as a PhD student. Berta focuses on using microfluidic techniques to investigate the mechanical and thermodynamic properties of novel systems such as phase-separated polymer systems and hydrogels.

Paula Magrinya Aguilo

PhD student

Paula joined the group in 2020 as a PhD student. Her main focus is studying how cells move. Specifically, the role of friction in cell motion.

Galor Geva

PhD student

Galor arrived at the group in november of 2021 following an MSc at Tel Aviv University, Where he worked on fundamental statistical mechanics. Galor's work mainly focuses on studying active colloidal transport.

Arin.jpg

Arin Escobar

PhD student

Arin joined the group in late 2022 as a PhD student. Her main focus is to study the behaviour of active colloids in different obstacle arrangements through simulations and theoretical calculations.
